- Kimchi Jjigae (김치찌개): Kimchi jjigae is one of the most popular types of stews in South Korea. It is made using kimchi as well as a protein such as tuna or pork. Then, tofu is added as a protein as well. Often, people serve green onions over top of this stew.

I like storing green onions in a tall cup with a little water in the bottom. Then, I place the green onions, roots facing down, into the cup. If you store them in the refrigerator this way, make sure to change the water often. If you use this method, your green onions can last even longer than a week!
